Reviews
Came here for an early dinner on a Friday night. We were able to make reservations on open table the same morning.
My 4 year old daughter got the kids chicken tenders meal, my wife got a salmon salad, and I got a Chicken Parmesan entree. We also ordered an Heirloom Tomato and Burrata.
Service was great, our server was really nice and she was patient when taking my daughter’s order.
All the food was excellent. The chicken was perfectly cooked, still tender on the inside, but nice and crunchy on the outside. The arugula side accompaniment went nicely with it. My wife said her salmon was really good as well. My daughter ate a few of the chicken tenders and I ate one of the leftovers and it was real chicken with breading, nice to see they even the kids meal was executed well by the chefs.
The tomato’s and burrata cheese were delicious with a balsamic topping.
Prices were good!

First time here didn't know it's such a noisy place. But the service is very good with nice appertizer plates. The Brussels sprouts are very well cooked and seasoned while the sesame sauce cauliflower is another nice surprise, though the burrata salad is a bit disappointing as the portion of burrata not so satisfying. Like the dining experience in general.

Second time visit, I found the calamari is a bit disappointing not crispy and too chewy tho the service is still very nice. There're also lots of varieties for your own appertie. The Pesto chicken gnocchi was amazing, not too salty not too plain but perfectly seasoned and cooked. Just love it! And the sesame cauliflower is a every time must;)) Yummy.
Great Food choices 🤤, they will try to get what you like to eat. If you are a picky eater like me.
Three diff. time already eaten there with friends. The experience was pretty good, except every time I tried to ask for complementary bread, they would not give it to me but they will give it to another table of customers.
So it depends who is your server, if they choose to want to help you.
The better half of the world food tour duo returned from Seoul earlier in the day and we celebrated my birthday at Ruscello on the 3rd floor of Nordstrom.
We started with a Moscow Mule and a Hendricks gin & tonic while we perused the menu. We ended up ordering the Kung Pao Brussels Sprouts, Heirloom Tomatoes & Burrata and the Chicken Lemon Pesto Gnocchi.
The brussels sprouts dish was excellent; the leaves of the sprouts were charred and the pieces of chicken sausage and toasted peanuts were perfect foils to the piquant sauce. The heirloom tomatoes were cherry tomatoes, halved and served with pieces of sourdough toast and the cow’s milk cheese. The tomato halves were dressed with basil pesto, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. This dish was okay but I expected slices of heirloom tomatoes. The ricotta gnocchi was dressed with a delicate lemon pesto sauce and sprinkled parmesan cheese.
We ended up with three containers of leftovers but we had to order dessert as it was my birthday. We split a White Chocolate Bread Pudding, which was a “brick” of bread pudding with white chocolate and raspberry sauces, some whipped cream and fresh raspberries. My better half thought the bread pudding was moist; I was hoping for some crème anglaise as I wanted more of a pudding than the “cake” we were served. I had a cup of coffee to finish my meal.
We dined at 3pm and I was surprised to see the restaurant full of diners. The food was fine, but not exceptional … The standout dish was the Kung Pao Brussels Sprouts.
The atmosphere at this place is great. The decor and the view you get of the ocean are really nice. Also The lobster bisque was tasty.
However I can’t say the same about the dish I ordered or the family ordered. I had the French dip, the first bite I took the meat was all gristle and I was choking on it.
I had asked for French fries for my side at first, but few mins later I changed my mind and asked if I can change it to the salad. The waiter checked and said they already made the fries and they can’t change it. It was another 10 mins before my sandwich came out. I don’t understand why they couldn’t have change the sides in the 10 mins. Did they had my fries sitting around getting cold during that time? Do they have to pick the potato, wash, cut and fry for each order?
The $20 French dip was a disappointment for sure. The rest of the family had other things, pizza, tacos, salad, soup, and salmon. I tried the salad, pizza and the soup.. I can say that the Lobster bisque was tasty, but also little too salty, same with the French fries, they were very salty. Pizza and salad.. nothing special.
It appeared many people were enjoying their meals here, but I can’t say the same, and I will not be returning here again. I’m most frustrated that they didn’t change my sides, and how bad the French dip was. Total bill food and ice tea.. $145. Plus tip. ~$33/person lunch.
love the ambiance of this restaurant. food was great. we had the lobster and tomato soup, both super rich in flavor. as well as the pesto gnocchi and nordstrom burger (burger was soooooo good omg). but mainly leaving this review for our waitress courtney. she was literally, THE SWEETEST waitress i’ve ever had. was super accommodating, always smiling and such a great attitude. went above and beyond for us. thank you for the awesome service courtney :)
We got a table in the corner with a great ocean view. The service was great, very attentive and personable. The artichoke dip and mushroom ravioli were rich. The drink was refreshing and light. Their steak and barley soup was delicious. A must try. The cheesy crostini was very hard though. Park on the 4th floor of Nordstrom lot off Piikoi for straight shot to the entrance.
Great service & beautiful view of Ala Moana beach. It’s comfortable with indoor/outdoor seating. Great variety of food with several flavor profiles to please everyone’s palate. We had the gnocchi, shrimp cilantro lime salad and an espresso martini. All delicious! Also, kid friendly with a fun little activity menu.
